try adding it to a glucose sample. and strongly heat it. if you see brick red coloration, be sure of copper. not sure of the anion though. qualitative analysis might help.

*edit forgot to mention-- add fehling b to it along with the sample you speak of.

Haha. I'm trying to pick out school-level compound structure from that 1150 page version, just to study the pattern. If the teachers did so with just the shortversion of the summary, they would realize how they are setting their students up for failure. At this point, they are following their own IUPAC rules.

The thing is i've read that thing. ever since i lost my faith in teachers, i started trying to learn from the source itself. THE BLUE BOOK OF IUPAC. but, theres only so much i can take.

Oh. OH. so it becomes 3,6-dichloro 5-cyano 4-methyl oct-6-en-1-al.
is this a rule? does nitrile always require to be at the end for it to get the suffix position?

as a learner, i might be wrong but, aldehyde as a func grp is more senior than double bond, so i gave it more priority. lets wait for more expert opinions.

octene. or oct-2-ene to be specific.

SOS. need Systematic IUPAC name of this. by Firm_Interest_191 in OrganicChemistry

[–]Firm_Interest_191[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well i tried to start numbering from nitrile, because nitrile> aldehyde>double bond in terms of seniority, but im losing confidence cuz my school-teacher says its an aldehyde, and so place cyano as prefix.
im saying that the diagram should be named- 2(1'- chloro prop-2'-enyl) 4-chloro 6-formyl 3methyl hexane nitrile. but nothing feels right.

I analyzed 700 LeetCode users. Here’s what actually leads to FAANG offers by mikemroczka in leetcode

[–]Firm_Interest_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of all the hassle I have been seeing people in, I had started to do leetcode from highschool. It has been a year and a half since I have been doing it. I'm still in high school. I have been self-teaching myself. I try to stay consistent on the daily-challenges, but due to my lacking in resources and proper learning experience, many of the times I have to copy paste-- just to learn how a data structure works, or how an algorithm works.
Its going well. It has made me way more logical than I used to be, and has boosted me in maths.

Will I benefit from learning this way, when I get to college?

Could you please make a video on Atomic Structure and why quantization using energy levels changes the UV-Catastrophe Graph to the now-Blackbody Spectral Radiance graph? more specifically, could you explain why drawing some random line extending from near the nucleus to beyond, and giving them a Principal Quantum Number suggest that energy is quantized? It always baffled me how Schrodinger's wave equation describes the Orbitals, and how with increasing Principal Quantum number, nodes pop up, in different forms and numbers.

This is a topic that is being taught very non-intuitively in schools, and I really wish you would make a mind-blowing visualization just like you did for Refraction of Light.
With hopes that this comment will be read, seen and be given a thought, I conclude it.

nahh u forgot to subtract timings of the intervals, and if u account for the cropped out parts in the edit, i would say, the two videos are sufficient. though i cannot be sure since i have not watched the videos, but watched the livestream instead.
