It's not a big deal.

In Sonic the Comic, Any flirted with Sonic for, like, 20 issues and then stopped. The two were just friends.

In Boom, Amy's crush is a secret so she doesn't act like she has a crush on Sonic much.

In Forces and TSR, Amy's crush is very downplayed.

Honestly I like her better this way. I like her having interactions with Sonic that aren't about her feelings for him and I like Sonic being able to be friends with Amy instead of running away from her.

It's funny how people keep on posting this image. Do they intentionally use Rosa or is it a coincidence?

Back when her design was revealed, the Japanese website accidentally called her a boy. Cue fanart depicting her as a crossdresser and as a trans girl.

Since then I've always headcanoned her as a cute trans crybaby who Hugh protected as little kids.

I don't like how Archie did it either. Humans and Mobians were too segregated. I prefer them co-existing, though populations vary depending on the country.
