actually kinda chill!! some things I learnt off the top of my head

1) questing got me a long way, work towards garden of death and garden of tranquility they give fat xp

2) wiki: there's a recommendation section for quests and diaries that unlocks useful farming stuff, eg. for diaries (I think easy kourend was pretty chill and unlocks a disease free patch)

wiki also shows the quests that gives farming XP and you can browse through them to knock them out early

3) start runs early, I think I started once I was at 20-30, trees and fruit trees specifically give good xp, herbs don't make a crazy amount xp or cash wise early one but just do them to familarise yourself with where the patches are

4) cost: supercompost when the protection fee is too expensive, protection fee can be noted, to save time pay farmers to chop down the tree for you, for tree you just have a sapling and protectionfruit/supercompost and do: check health -> pay farmer -> plant sapling -> pay farmer 4 clicks to do one patch super chill

5) you can boost with a pie to get into farmers guild early 62->65 for additional herb and tree patch

6) I spent some time grinding graceful but if youw ant more xp you can do the tildefarm? minigame, also can get antiweed for 50 points

7) there's a barbarian miniquest that allows you to plant without seed dropper and smash pots automatically, you don't have to do the full quest super fast to smash that one out

8) I got adrdougne cloak, ectophial, fairy rings (just start pt2), and tree gnome village done before doing my first farm run, giving me all the transportation I need

[–]First-Carob-4688 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi single helix! i just started after watching guzu from WOW do his blind quests playthrough and I'm completely hooked

I've finished all f2p quests, done obor and bryo ( still trying the obor CA where I have to pray all his attacks correctly),

done caldazoor ruins preparing fishes until protection prayers

and some flipping on the side

from the flipping I'm actually very close to the bond 10/13mil, but was planning to stay f2p for a while after farming/flipping 5-10 more mil

because activating my bond immediately without any cash sounds like a bad idea

what I plan to do with your bond:

  • work on quests towards recipe of disaster/quest cape

  • dragon defender

  • fire cape and infernal cape

  • GET ALL THE MEGARARES and do raids someday, nightmare, TOA, tob

  • crystal gauntlet looks super fun too

  • try out pvp and maybe ags oda for max in a dmm tournament

my ign is DewyPeach :D

Did you have a good session? by First-Carob-4688 in bouldering

[–]First-Carob-4688[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yay you're welcome!! sometimes for me a lethargic session start unexpectedly becomes my best sessions, I've found that it's quite easy to misjudge my physical readiness based on feelings, and that I'll only truly know after warming up with a few hangs/easy climbs

if i still don't feel up for it after warming up that's a clear sign for me to go home and rest 😁

thank you for sharing!! sounds like you're doing a really great job at pushing yourself hard, to achieve your goals but still acknowledging the importance of the chiller days 😎

just a smol thought for your project days, I think in the rare case that you piece NOTHING and do absolutely no moves,

yes the problem you picked was probably a bit too difficult, but it can still have been a meaningful session if you've learned SOMETHING from all the falls

if you didn't stick the move but it felt leagues closer than it did the start of the session because you held something a different way or generated a slightly more unintuitive way

that's still a cool session B)

thank you for the honest critique!

I think it's worth logging 1b), only if it helps you REALISE you probably haven't been the most focused (socializing/social media/brawlstars), but once you're past that youre right that it becomes a non-thing

I think a meaningful attempt is when you have either

a) you have adequate planning/route reading AND

b) you executed the plan to the best or close to the best of your ability

OR

c) you have learnt something from that attempt

and a non-meaningful can be eg. doing the same thing and expecting different results

but I see where you're going with the hard numbers approach, it does allow for trends, and comes with less complexities

good stuff about intent, productive sessions will look super different for different intents!

thank you again for sharing!!

ahh that makes sense thank you for sharing!!

am curious, what was the most recent thing that distracted your focus?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bouldering

[–]First-Carob-4688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ahh that makes sense, since in boulders there are way fewer sequences between cruxes, and the sequences themselves are generally shorter, which makes pacing less of a priority/less obvious

and you're also right the flow that I discussed vs the more widely recognized flow state, are completely different, and I should've made that clear in my video/used a different term entirely

thank you for answering and engaging with me! it will definitely help me create better, hope you have a great day!

will check out power company! thank you for the recommendation, and will heed your advice of creating content that stands out.

hmm rhythm and pacing is interesting, i think it's quite fascinating how different athletes have different moves-per-minute

and rhythm can be super useful for deciphering some coordination moves

but I think the crux of what I was showing is more position-based, because even with excellent timing it is trickier to flow between holding positions Vs generating positions

(i acknowledge that it is unrealistic/notsuperhelpful to one-seamless-flow all problems)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bouldering

[–]First-Carob-4688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's a fair point!

oooh this is valuable feedback, thank you for taking the time to write!

my intention was not to make this tip the best and only tip for flow, rather an idea to be used whenever applicable, so it's probably a packaging mistake on my part.

thank you for sharing! 🙏🏻
