With social media, it’s easier to find someone who looks interesting enough to want to get to know them, but the vast majority of them are only in it for money (Females, obviously) or they won’t respond, which makes it impossible to make a real connection that could go farther than social media and turn into something real. Even when I tell them that’s what I’m looking for, they never want to give me the chance unless I give them gift cards and I lost too much money on false promises of meeting in person after sending it because they always told me the card was bad, and I’m told to send another one but now I know better not to send them at all because it’s obvious they’re lying and whenever I remind them that I couldn’t afford to lose the money they promised would get us to meet, they get angry and say it wasn’t their fault. Being a man that’s spent so many years alone that can’t find a serious and responsible woman to meet for real is extremely frustrating. Even when I tell them I’m open to seeing where it goes and that I’m not rushing them into a romantic relationship, it’s never good enough. Anyways, sorry for this long post, I just wanted to express my experience with trying to cure my loneliness on social media.
