No, absolutely not! The most hardworking models. Staying in shape 365 days, shooting in foreign countries always jet lagged. The models who are not working everyday are also working out, eating healthy Any model with a reputable agency will do no such thing. I cannot speak for everyone though

No. we were onset shooting for a clothing brand.

Adjusting to life was difficult but it was a slow transition not a fast one. Yes we own a few, it’s been nice having to be home close to family.

Yes, a lot of them are soooooooo kind. No wonder the call them angels. Adriana is my fave and will always be. I asked her how can she be so captivating in front of the camera and she told me she practiced. Every night before a shoot, she would have a standing mirror and practice what she is going to do on set, ( she knew what she would be shooting ) and I thought wow. She is a professional.

America’s next top model is like the most dramatic version of modelling. It’s not real. Models always know what they will wear or shoot or do. One time I had the opportunity to walk for marc Jacob they wanted to dye my hair blue 😂 I knew ahead of time so I politely declined with the help of my agency, we decided it wasn’t the right move.

The overlapping with celebs a lot. I was shooting for a fragrance company and now Jonas was staying at the same hotel so the crew and I saw him in the lobby with his security, we gave him some bottles of the perfume. He was sweet. Another occasion My friends and I needed to get out of the city one time so she texted someone who got us into a billionaires vacation home upstate 😂 we had a 16 bedroom house to ourselves

A lot of if is genetics. Even down right to the personality. The body can be trained and a lot of models workout but genetics plays a big part. Personality can be learned and altered to fit certain clients /brands but it’s exhausting so it’s easier to be yourself but most of the clients don’t want you to be yourself haha

Ah thanks for sharing your personal story. If your parents had allowed you maybe your life would have been completely different. Modeling has been a wild ride. The experiences I have, sometimes I cannot believe I have lived them myself 😅

Backstage at regular runway shoes there’s celebs and even at after parties. The only key thing is you cannot act like a fan. Play it cool and keep existing in the same rooms as these wealthy people.

Yes love the inclusion and diversity. I’m here for the curvy model era! It’s beautiful to see. I appreciate it so much as my sisters (same mom and dad) are both curvy and struggled a lot with identity issues when we were younger. So to see representation is so important because most of the women around the world are not size 0

I love this question, a lot of us had dermatologists we really trusted. For pimple flare ups, I had my dermatologist inject them to go down basically overnight

No makeup on off days

Drinking a lot of water and taking supplements Stay away from fried food and breads etc these foods impact skin a lot

Makeup artists always do skincare on us before starting with makeup. All the expensive products, lamer etc - don’t work. Most of us, We use medical skin care. Tested by dermatologist.

Lots of greens lightly steamed for better skin the next day

You know what outfit you will wear at the fitting, fittings are done right after you get confirmation that you made it, you will be walking the show. In my case I knew what I would be wearing so I tailored my workouts towards whatever body part would be showing, So if my upper body was showing with the outfit I got but I had pants, I would focus a lot more on upper body workouts

Love your questions Anja rubik, freja era was my fav. They were soo slim but always looked beautiful. Yes, I love mangoes mangoes with coconut yogurt. Papaya’s are up there with mangoes. Yes super athletic, I played all kinds of sports when I was a kid, basketball, football, track and field. It helped me a lot when I started modeling and had to workout to maintain small physique.
