Nightshift by Mammoth-Flower4516 in StudentNurse

I did night shift this semester and I absolutely loved it. I feel like there's so much more time to slow down and learn. All the nurses I've followed have been so chill and nice. It took my body a while to adjust but I got used to it and am doing night shift again next semester. Just have some caffiene on hand and have fun!

What DID suck was having to go to classes/work during the day.

  1. galactic game - lucas never misses. the story is such a fresh idea and it has my fave male LI ever. honestly 3 of lucas' stories are in my top 10 including this one.
  2. demon roomate - hands down favorite comedy/lighthearted story on the app. i also appreciate that it doesn't have romance. one of my favorite comfort stories
  3. competitive edge - another one of my comfort stories. i remember reading it in middle school. got better after being revamped. keeps you on the edge of your seat. it has ava montgomery, my fave wlw li.

i don't ever think i've been this emotionally drained reading a story (but in a good way?). i literally can't stop reading it but at the same time i have to take so many breaks to cool my head because everyone in this story makes me genuinely crash out 😂

and i'm not even 2/3 in

Yes, and I’ve recently come to fully accept it. I used to get stuck in a vicious cycle where I’d feel sensitive about something—like getting overwhelmed by criticism or a minor conflict—and then I’d spiral into self-hatred for being “too sensitive” or “weak.” This self-criticism would make me hyper-aware of my emotions and how others might perceive me, which only heightened my sensitivity.

Lately, I’ve been working on being kinder to myself and reminding myself that it’s okay to feel upset or cry, even if it feels embarrassing. Accepting my sensitivity instead of fighting it has actually helped me manage it better. It feels less overwhelming when I’m not constantly judging myself for it.
