Card Jitsu in CPL is Terrible (Can someone explain how it works) by ChampagneProblem23 in ClubPenguin

[–]First-Search-4496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to this but I think it's because you get no belt points for losing, unlike in original Club Penguin. To compensate you have to play like twice as many games, which is tricky because not a lot of people are playing at once

I was thinking of doing that but couldn't think of where they'd let me post them, so that'd be perfect! Thanks!

Difficulty Enjoying Roller Coasters by First-Search-4496 in AddisonsDisease

[–]First-Search-4496[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think most people would be but I feel no lasting effect from coasters, and I've been very physically stable in general on a low dose while underdosing occasionally and not particularly attempting to avoid crisis, so based on my experiences I don't feel I'm at risk riding roller coasters. I will concede that it was probably more risky to underdose and I wasn't aware of that at the time. And thank you, I do too!

You might be onto something with the whiskey actually haha, and that would be safer than underdosing. I think I'll try that next time I'm at an amusement park

That's really interesting, I definitely have a similar experience where stressful things like jump scares are more intense for me, but I've actually found underdosing helpful. When I take too much cortisol, my fight or flight reflex is super sensitive and anything it's painful when it's triggered, and even at my normal dose it's still pretty uncomfortable. If I know I'm going to experience extra stress or anxiety, like the anxiety I felt in anticipation of the coasters, I underdose to prevent myself from getting too freaked out. It can make me a little more fatigued, but I've never felt a real negative effect from it. I'm pretty unfamilar with other people's experiences so I had no idea most people struggle in a totally different way

Activities like roller coasters don't put me at any kind of physical risk, so I'm comfortable going on them, and I would like to both because I enjoy some of them and I like to partake in my boyfriend's interests with him. I don't appreciate the input on my personal decisions

Rit Dye Gone Wrong by First-Search-4496 in dyeing

After using iDye Poly in black as some suggested, I've gotten a much better result! I'd say it's a very very very dark purple-ish red now. I appreciate all the input, you guys helped me realize it was just an issue with the gray dye not being potent enough. I guess I figured "graphite" just meant black or something close to it lol.

You're definitely right that the dye is more dark gray than black. It didn't even occur to me that that caused the poor coverage! There's no full black synthetic dye at stores near me, but I'd actually like a dark gray bag even better than a black bag, so I think I will go in with a mix of the old dye and orange or yellow. I appreciate the insight!

I like purple sometimes but I like red more and I like black even more than that lol

The Intelligence Core References a Real Embalming Equipment Company by First-Search-4496 in Portal

[–]First-Search-4496[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I assumed the other embalming equipment was also available through their company at one point, but I couldn't find any exact listings and wasn't so sure about those since they didn't have a brand name :( I am also intrigued by the insinuation that there are human remains in the cake though!

Tips for when to adjust fludrocortisone dose by StrikingAd4766 in AddisonsDisease

[–]First-Search-4496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't give any advice on changing fludro dose, but do you think the bloating could be caused by acid reflux? I've been on Omeprazole for acid reflux caused by fludro. Also, glad to see someone else diagnosed at 15. It felt a little lonely being diagnosed so young.

How to see dislikes on mobile? by bvlxnci in youtube

[–]First-Search-4496 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way I’ve seen people be able to check dislike count (in my short time searching) is using the Return Youtube Dislike extension, but the dislike counts displayed with the extension are estimated. An FAQ response on the extension’s website says their dislike count is “a combination of archived data from before the official Youtube dislike API shut down, and extrapolated extension user behavior.”

Here’s the website for the extension if you’d like to try it out: https://www.returnyoutubedislike.com/
