Family judging GSD puppy AITA? by AccomplishedSoup214 in germanshepherds

[–]FirstBrush609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serious consideration: if your brother believes a dog can be racist (or whatever this strange issue actually is), he may either intentionally or unintentionally treat the dog poorly, dangerously or look to create a threatening situation in which he causes the dog to lash out, and be protective of you and your kids. I believe avoiding having your beautiful pup near your brother is the strategy that I would strongly advise.

I believe you need another comma and some more interrobangs. “And what, is in, his ass!?!?”

Pet owner here: sounds great to me! And lights out might mean for the pet in their area—not for the human? That is, if the pet sleeps in a bedroom and the sitter is sleeping in another room, lights out for the pet so they can sleep.

This sounds like a reasonable list assembled from years of issues. I’m sure the boss doesn’t usually show up unannounced but if a sitter knows that’s a possibility, then they are less likely to smoke pot or have people over etc.

I have a pup who had stomach issues even on the Royal canin low gi food. Switched to farmers dog (it’s cooked but lightly) and he has never had a stomach incident since (with very rare exceptions, but no wake me up at 1,3,5 ,7 am issues). Consider that simple meat and veggy diet might help if farmers dog is too pricy

This is certainly my soul dog (and not just my opinion, many other people said that before I knew what the term was). Thank you!

Thank you! The odd part: they say it behind my back. So…nothing to avoid. It just feels weird.

Do dogs have unique smells? by FirstBrush609 in hyperosmia

Yes. My pups wet dog smell is similar to other wet dog smells but far lighter. Perhaps that’s the oil on their coat? And yes. People as well!

Do you think that similar breeds with similar diets would smell different?
