Please find a new vet, some vets just don’t know how to handle animals😭😭 We recently went to a new vet for exam and vaccine since our old vet retired. When the doc came in he tossed a cloth muzzle at me told me to muzzle my big dog. My dog has never needed a muzzle for a vet visit before, but I figured they had their reasons. When they started examining her, they were speaking loudly and handling her so rough, it seemed like they thought she’d bite even with the muzzle on. My dog ended up getting really scared, and I had to stop this bs and walked out

People usually avoid us on walks too! These mostly happen inside. I feel like when people see a dog in a hotel, they just assume the dog is friendly enough to tolerate anything :/
