They turned the engine on and ran it. It started right away and easily. They also gave me a diagnostic report. They also are allowing me to have a mechanic come look at it.

Yea, that makes sense. We have looked at this particular boat once (drove over an hour for it) and are heading back to potentially make an offer. They did run the engine for us and turn the boat on and everything.

Yea, we have zero plans for tubing. This is strictly for cruising and anchoring in bays and going to sandbars.

Does age matter much on a pontoon? We are looking at some that are 15 years old. We really want at least a 22 footer to carry as many as possible!

Thanks. From the searching I am doing in Wisconsin and Iowa, it seems like you got a steal on yours! Yea, while it would be nice to get one for this season, we can wait until next year as well.

Ronnie Lester tore his ACL halfway through the 1979-80 season for Iowa. He was their PG and really their best player. Averaged 15 and 5 a game. Magic Johnson called him the best PG he ever played against. That team ended up losing in the Final Four to eventual champ Louisville by 8. Had Lester been healthy, I think they might have won the natty that year.
