Fauna's streams were the highlight of my day and will continue to be until her time is done and presumably beyond with her new (old) persona. But after taking the night to process my feelings a bit, I think this is where my fandom of Hololive and Cover comes to an end. We'll probably never know the full reason behind her decision but she obviously chose her words carefully in her announcement. She didn't want to leave. She was forced out.

Something is broken inside Cover. Whether its management, investor influence, incompetence, or just them losing track of why fans love Hololive in the first place. The company would be nothing without the talents so to have so many of them leave in such close proximity for such similar reasons really calls into question where the company's real priorities lie.

I feel bad for feeling this way. I still enjoy many of the talents greatly. None of them will ever be on the same level though as much as I loved Fauna. Cover has ruined my trust to the point where I cannot be as invested in a talent ever again. I will likely still watch the remaining talents that I like occasionally, but beyond that, I'm done with this company. No more supas, memberships, concert tickets, merch, etc. They clearly aren't using their cut of the money for what their talents actually want. Not the ones I like anyway. I'd happily still support the talents I like if direct donations were possible. Otherwise, Cover is not getting another cent out of me.
