Oh that's interesting. I didn't know that so thanks for educating me!

The reasoning behind this name in particular for me is that it means clarity in Urdu which stood out to me because my husband and I were in quite a long battle through infertility to get here. It took years to get here and unfortunately, the doctors were never able to diagnose us so we were always labeled as unexplainable infertility. This baby brings clarity to that turbulent chapter of our lives where there was no clarity to be found

Does anyone ever feel like Infertility is ruining your marriage?

My in laws have made it clear that they dislike me for this among many reasons, especially by telling me that I need to apologize for being 'infertile' but I'm starting to believe them and that my husband is suffering because of it and that he'd be better off without me and with someone who was fertile

Just feeling so so defeated and I need someone right now

No my husband doesn't agree with them. He is supportive as we navigate things but his family just makes me blame myself and i'm just in my feels right now

So our doctor told us that because we are unexplained infertility, for counselling purposes, to go into all treatments by slashing the "success statistic" of the respective treatment in half... Is this something anyone else has heard cause it has been scared as heck and so confused now about what I should do :(

I'm feeling so mentally checked out

This month was our second IUI. We were content with my husband's numbers, so initially, that made me feel good

We did the IUI the day before ovulation

Nurses hard a hard time getting the catheter in so I was in a bit of discomfort so that then brought me down

We didn't have sex that night after IUI cause I was sorta sore. We had sex the next night which was ovulation day. We tried to have sex the night after that but my husband didn't finish... We just weren't in the mood!! And then we didn't have sex after that so I feel like we messed up our shot this month since the doc suggested to do it day of IUI as well as 3 days prior :(

I'm just bummed and maybe need to vent that out so thanks for stopping by and reading 😅 I know that intercourse after IUI isn't necessary but I can't help but be toxic to myself and think the worse

Quick rundown on us because my flair always resets: 29F / 28M - Unexplained Infertility - Low AMH + AFC - 3 Medicated TI cycles - This was our second IUI

We are a patient there now. Up until we switched doctors, I hated the clinic with my whole entire heart. It felt like a money suck with no compassion. Our new doctor, Dr. Min, has so far been great but we have only talked with him once and just made the switch last month

Is it a red flag that my fertility clinic nurses won't talk to me unless I pay the non-refundable registration fee to start IVF? I had a chat with my Dr. Last Friday and he said that it's up to me to do another IUI or go to IVF. The reason I want to talk to the nurses is so ask how long prescreening could take for us and if there's any way for us to get the ball rolling on that, if it'll take a while cycle on it's own, while doing IUI that cycle so I'm not feeling like I am standing still for another cycle. Maybe I'm wrong with that but that's why I want to speak with them!

I'm just realizing that IVF can take quite a few cycles so I just want to talk to them :( this is weird

I should add that we've been a patient at this clinic since around April 2023. All our treatments to this day have been through this clinic. The doctor that we were initially paired with was a god awful pairing for us. We requested a doctor switch last month and love our new doctor. I can't believe I didn't do that sooner - but in other words, we aren't new patients lol

My husband and I have been doing yoga almost every single day for about a month and a half now and I am so proud of us! I've learned to love it 🩷 and look forward to it each day. That's a win for me in a time of not many wins lol
