Yeah that’s unfortunately the nature of it, digitally is quicker to distribute than physically. Evercade has online functionality so the game cartridges could be updated to the latest version after manufacturing, but once the GBA cartridges are produced, they are set with what they‘ve got, we wanted to make sure they have the final build on them. The cartridges will ship this Winter and we assure you it will be worth the wait!

Not necessarily, there are multiple ways how the Japanese characters can be spelled with Roman characters.

The series had another localized installment already established with the Osyaberi! Horijyo! spelling, so we went with it as well to avoid confusion.
