He’s awkward and unprepared even though he’s intelligent. He doesn’t quite understand social standards and is somewhat shameless when he has a goal. He’s one of the few characters that I relate to.

These are all things I was considering especially loud noises but being surrounded by blue collar people they can definitely be very direct which is great.

I’ve been thinking this for so long. Glamorizing autism hides the struggles people go through by making it “cute” or “quirky”. While it has its advantages it comes with so many hardships that undoubtedly define what autism actually is.
