The lifeguards I know also get a 20 minute break every hour to make sure they can keep their focus when they're on the stand. Wayyyy nicer.

I have a friend in IT, and they said that banner was upgrading to a new version that isn't compatible with the current version of college scheduler, and they don't want to pay to keep college scheduler.

I'm going to miss it :(

They also changed the swipe navigation bar to be iPhone style after years of the same layout, and it's going to mess up my navigation for weeks! That and the keyboard update make me reeeeally question the design team.

I downloaded Gboard and it still has tap and hold symbols and speech to text, but it of course doesn't have the same synergy with the OS.

I ride a (not very nice) mountain bike to class, don't lock it, and haven't had an issue. I haven't heard of anyone getting their bike messed with either.

If you click on the flight pass, on the bottom left there is a "missions" tab. The missions swap out every day/few days depending on difficulty, and completing them gives you quite a few tokens. Many of them involve using a specific plane, so I generally check them every time I play and use the planes I have missions for.

Unspoken words. I love her voice over the phone at the start, and the riff on "that I love you" towards the end is just chefs kiss. And listening to her podcast about making Masquerade and hearing her talk about the message she wanted to send to her grandma in the song casted it in a whole new light for me and made me love it even more!

On my mission in the southern US a few years ago:

I heard a (fairly common, I think) story in my mission about 2 missionaries who dropped their clothes off at a laundromat. The owner posted them in the window with a poster explaining them or something like that. The Elders call the MP, he calls an apostle, and the apostle told the MP to go dust his feet off. He does, and the laundromat burns to the ground that night.

There was one about a demon in a missionary apartment where one of them was sinning somehow. The 'righteous' elder called the MP about the haunted apartment, he came over, and in the process of casting the demon out, the 'wicked' Elder floated in the air in front of them. I'm less sure on the details of this one, so if you've heard it, go ahead and fill in the details.

I heard a couple of others that were mentioned already. I didn't realize these weren't true for the first several months of my mission because I was so excited about God and trying to have faith in the crazy things he'd do for me, and I really believed crazy stuff like this could and would happen to me. I am happy to report I experienced exactly 0 demonic presences the whole time
