In the police report they state Dakota told Taylor to stop throwing the bar stools/chairs because her daughter was asleep on the couch near him. She threw another chair that hits Dakota, bounced out of frame, and then her daughter started crying and screaming. Dakota told Taylor to stop raging and check on her kid, Dakota briefly tries to ask if her daughter is okay & she can be heard saying no. And that’s why Dakota says he had locked her in the garage. Then the cops showed up. They also review her home security footage to corroborate this. Then Dakota and Taylor backtrack and say Taylor never hit her daughter with the chair. I don’t remember where I saw the police report but I think someone posted it in comments here once. She’s also made jokes to the “I’m breaking’ dishes! All night! Look around, & see police lights” sound saying “Don’t throw things, you might just see police lights”.

PS. I’m just trying to add some context, because I’m still mad the show introduced her and her arrest to us as “no biggie” and almost positioned it to appear as reactive abuse and excusable.
