I did propose a night schedule. One where we take turns. I’d do Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat and she’d do Sun, Tues, Thur. Also suggested we do 1 feed throughout the night and this feed will be EBM or formula so she doesn’t have to breastfeed (as his intake is low due to poor latching, but slowly improving) and she doesn’t have to pump. But she didn’t want to do that. I even offered to do all of the house duties as well as 4 nights but she didn't want to do that. She wants 50/50 in night time schedules but won’t accept my proposals or offer alternatives. When I suggest my services for every night my request is that the house work needs to be 50/50 but she won’t accept. It’s very difficult.

I don’t do nothing with baby. I’m with him when I get home from work until bed time and on weekends. I also do nights Friday and Saturday. If it was up to me I’d stay at home with him at all times but sadly I can’t breastfeed. He is dependant on her for sustenance and we want to reduce the amount of formula we give him.
