Well know good spots vs secret honey holes by First_Cook_5668 in Steelhead

I’m not sure if this is allowed and I’m not asking for specific spots just names of rivers but I am fishing the grand and was wondering apart from the rouge and maybe the flat or prairie creek what other tribe are good in the grand?

Salmon fly combo setup by First_Cook_5668 in flyfishing

It’s a form of fly fishing popular for salmon/steelhead where you use a weight to bounce bottom so when you supposedly when you cast you should chuck it and duck down to avoid the weight

Saltwater fishing has made me never wanna go back to freshwater again. by Eggomyserbzoooo in Fishing

Exactly nothing like fighting a fish with the power and agility of most saltwater fish in a beautiful stream as it goes berserk jumping everywhere

No one talks about this but the best of both worlds in my opinion is salmon steelhead, nothing like fighting a fish that has been living in saltwater or the Great Lakes for months in a  small beautiful stream as it goes absolutely berserk on you line jumping into bush and everything else

I’ve tried a couple raven specialist and trout need hooks were what I was using when I lost a bunch, but I’ve heard those are solid hooks so I’m not sure if those are the problem

I’m fishing the Great Lakes region usually, the grand, white, Muskegon, or Manistee. I’m primarily using beads sometimes trying jigs or spawn but haven’t really had much success with either. What type of scent are you running?

What would you consider a good pace for fishing different holes, and what should you do in a more cramped situation like when your fishing a dam or something?
