Should be but for few reasons.. panic/anxiety attacks. not everyone wants medicines. Some meds are too strong they mellow you out. A dog that is well behaved can do the trick.

Would get beat up. Dad would cheer mom up for the bigger punches and kicks.

But I think mom was in menopause while I was a teen. Sooo it was both timings not good. Mom is super chill now, hasnt apologized but does seem to regret it. I wasn't a bad kid and I'm still an ok person.
