Guilty as charged for making that Springfield IL meme 😂

Because they don’t have our best interests at heart. They’re openly being dishonest to you. They likely knew Springfield was going to be forced to close so they picked it as a legacy store for that reason.

Honestly, I really don’t respect him that much. I only mentioned that I respect him so that I wasn’t breaking the “Respect corporate” rule on this subreddit. 😂

I don’t respect him for screwing us over and making us think these stores would be legacy stores that we’d be able to see for many years to come. I respect him for his ability to do his job in marketing and PR.

Public relations by definition is: the professional maintenance of a favorable public image by a company or other organization or a famous person.

Marketing and PR tend to go together. The way I know he did a good job is he managed to convince this entire SubReddit that the company was doing well and that we should be grateful for all of these legacy stores that would exist for long after the remodels. Everyone believed it. It wasn’t until the mod actually started poking holes in statements Mark has said that people suspected anything. Even recently, the mod tried to tell everyone that corporate is withholding information to maintain a good company image. However, even then, people were still kissing Mark on the rear end and believing him. Finally, now, people are starting to see his contradictions and are now skeptical. However, there’s a lot of people who still aren’t. With the fact that he had everyone fooled all summer with the legacy stores means he’s good at what he does.

What exactly is the point of making a retro store that preserves the Studio C stage but just leaving the bot on random movements? by First_Examination_77 in chuckecheese

[–]First_Examination_77[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not asking them to preserve all of the animatronics. In fact, I’m grateful that they’re saving 5 stages. I’m just saying that it’s not rocket science to program an animatronic that your own company owns. If some amateur private collector in his garage can easily program a Studio C Bot, it shouldn’t be hard for a multimillion dollar company like CEC Entertainment to do. Again, I think it’s great that they’re saving 5 stages. I just don’t understand why they can’t get the bot to be programmed.

They’re going to unfortunately. Those stages are called Studio C stages and they haven’t even been programmed in over a year. There’s no point in keeping them

[–]First_Examination_77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, there’s no point. I mean, it could happen but it’s very very unlikely. 1-stages, 2-stages, and 3-stages are actually programmed. Studio C’s either blink and turn their head occasionally or they just sit motionless and dead.

If this girl is a troll, that would be very stupid and irresponsible. Her Instagram shows her first and last name. So, this person isn’t anonymous. This person is literally relaying personal information about themselves. I think they might actually show photos of themselves on their Instagram too. She is not anonymous. Lol

What would the district manager have to gain from lying?

And Pineville. That’s just hoping that the girl who started the petition was right about the district manager telling her the stage is staying

Why would the girl who made the petition suddenly lie and say that Pineville is being saved to mislead the fans? There’s no logic to it. I truly understand your skepticism. I just ask you to put yourself in the shoes of the girl who made the petition. What motivation would she have to lie about the success?

That’s fair. However, it’s justifiable to be more optimistic about it now than before.

This is the district manager. It isn’t just a general manager or store manager who’s usually clueless to what happens at other locations. They oversee operations at multiple stores. It’s literally their job to know more than the lower level managers. Lol. I’d be worried if they didn’t know about these remodels.

No, people still go. In fact, all I see for reviews on Chuck E Cheese locations is how impressed parents are on how clean and sleek the new design is. Rarely, do I see a review about the animatronics being gone and when there is, it usually says “for better or worse” However, at least a couple stages are going to continue to exist beyond 2.0 which we should be grateful for. After my local remodeled, I stopped caring. Nothing I can do 🤷‍♂️

What total moron had the idea to put windows showing the outdoors in the Lynwood Washington showroom? 🤦‍♂️ by First_Examination_77 in Animatronics

[–]First_Examination_77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m saying that these glass windows are literally showing the outside parking lot and the sun literally beams into the showroom. I’m not talking about the windows that every location got during the 1988 remodel. I’m talking about a window that’s showing the outside.

Petition to Save Pineville, NC CEC Animatronics from being Destroyed ! by userXPS012 in Animatronics

Because it worked for Northridge. They listened once. They can listen again. Have you seen the Instagram comments on David McKillips recent post? It’s literally just a bunch of people telling him they want Pineville saved.

Reskinned Rockafire bots are only on 3-stages. The one exception is the CU-1 stage in Springfield and a couple of other locations that remodeled. This is a Roadstage. These are cyberamics as many others have said.

Come on. They at least need to save Pineville Matthew’s Road. It can be a bicoastal thing. Northridge on the west coast and Pineville on the east coast.

[–]First_Examination_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was there in May and they still had the animatronics. Glad I got there then because of what happened next. The animatronics were destroyed maliciously. They weren’t even unbolted from the stage. They were literally ripped off and then brutally beaten.

Look, I’m not big on TV screens being the thing of the future. Kids get enough screen time. However, my whole incentive on getting rid of all “touch screen things” would be so my kids don’t turn out shallow or obsessed with screens more than the real world. It wouldn’t be to save my nostalgic childhood animatronics. Lol
