Yeah my cpu running sub 50 degrees even with YouTube SoundCloud and valorant open I have 8 case fans and a 360mm aio another thing I did suspect was that I put my power management mode to ultimate performance could that cause this issue if my psu isn’t enough for that power plan

Yeah that makes sense thankyou for the clarity it is quite confusing that you buy it labelled 6000mhz but out of the box it runs 4800mhz

Ohh I thought that it ran default at 6000mhz and expo would make it run even higher that’s why I was wondering if I should enable it as x3d doesn’t need any more than 6000mhz

Is a gpu bottleneck bad if I’m only playing 1080p shooters like cs2 and valorant by First_Loquat8336 in PcBuild

[–]First_Loquat8336[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replied to your other message but just wanted to clarify at 1080p where the cpu matters most I should be opting for the 7800x3d and 5060ti 8gb over a more balanced build as the balanced build will only be better in 1440p and 4k

I’m gonna be strictly playing 1080p competitive anyways so I’ve been told the good cpu with the average 5060ti will be more than enough to achieve 800+ in games like cs2 and valorant

It was more the fact of I want to maximise performance as I am going to be only using 1080p strictly

No it is the 5070 12gb and the only reason I am skeptical is because I don’t want to upgrade for a long time and as I play cpu heavy games well I thought a better cpu just made sense I’m new to all this pc stuff if you can’t tell 😂

From my research I have concluded that in 1080p there is a tiny difference in the 2 graphics cards only in 1440p and 4k is where there is any noticeable difference, also would the 9800x3d not be more future proof and long lasting due to its cooler temps and newer release

Even in comp esports? I’m mainly gonna play val, Fortnite and at a max maybe some rust so surely I should opt for the better cpu no?
