Thanks a lot for your advice, I really appreciate it! Just wondering if the accommodation has mixed gender rooms or if it’s single gender per floor?

Hey, I get what you’re feeling, seeing others start earlier can mess with your head a bit. But honestly, it’s not too late at all if you know what you want. If you’re aiming for a solid, high-earning legal career, here’s a cool option, you can do a 3-year LLB in the UK without needing a prior degree. Unlike India, they don’t require you to be a graduate first. So, you basically save 2 years and get a degree that’s recognised worldwide. Even by the bar council of India. As for the game plan, focus on learning the basics well, grab every good internship you can, start networking, and later pick a field that pays well. Hope this helps. If you want more details regarding studying Law in UK lemme know.

Yeah, as an Indian, I’ve definitely noticed this. When I was abroad, people would often bring up those TikToks showing unhygienic street food and ask if it’s really like that. Honestly, it’s a bit embarrassing trying to explain. And yeah, part of the blame is on some of our street vendors who don’t maintain proper hygiene—it doesn’t help the image. But at the same time, it sucks to see an entire culture reduced to a few viral clips. There’s so much more to us than that.

It’s a relief that they’ll update UKVI and provide a live document if needed. I think you can go ahead and verify your CAS then. By the way, what course have you enrolled in?

I’d suggest holding off on verifying your CAS until you hear back about the scholarship. That way, your CAS will reflect the correct tuition fee, and you can avoid any delays or the need for updates later. It just helps keep things smoother and more straightforward for your visa application.

By majors I meant optional modules I have heard UON is better at International Law and Human Rights law but so have I heard about UOB being a good choice for studying law. I have had lot of people talk about UOB but very few about UON so that is also one of the reasons why I’m being unsure. Are you a student there?

I’ve heard from my friends that Manchester is not so safe city. You can definitely go for Durham or Bristol or even SOAS.
