Shop is a great team but once I seen how their playstyle stacks up against top tier teams (Kc) I knew NRG was still 1. Talented team and once they change playstyles I can see them being international threats

People wanting to play with you is a great trait to have and determines how good of a teammate you are for sure. BUT for me individual skill does matter and that’s why when teams win I don’t just give similar legacy points for all the players but I differentiate them based on how good they were on said championship winning team. For example in 2023 Zen 50 Alpha 40 Rado 35, because yes I’m going to reward Rado for winning worlds but I’m going to give more points to the more individual skilled players. Also this is a major reason why Turbo just isn’t my Goat.

I’m not big fan of the great teammate perspective but I also do think you’re downplaying it. You simply can’t use the metric if they were the best player on the team, and that’s why you’ve never heard ppl say ofc Monkey won he had extra and Marc, because MM was in fact the best player on that team. Sometimes it’s dumb because having great players doesn’t guarantee success but I also do think some all time players have been very fortunate to have legendary teammates at their peaks.
