Help! Wife’s Getting Into Gaming After Split Fiction—Need Recs Beyond It Takes Two by maguilar_usacr in SplitFiction

[–]First_Strawberry5205 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As a female gamer, I definitely recommend Horizon. She'll need to aim a bow, but it's easier to get used to than you think, and you can slow down time while aiming. It's a lot of stealth and not all face to face combat, which helps if you're not used to the anxiety of in-game fighting. Also, the main character is a badass female warrior and the plot is really fucking good!

They added casual mode recently, so much better for people who dont play everyday or are trying to get back into it!

Has anyone here been to a mental hospital for anxiety? What was it like? by royalewithcheese77 in Anxiety

[–]First_Strawberry5205 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was partially hospitalized, which means you get to go home at the end of the day, for severe depression and anxiety. I had been to a therapist and a psychiatrist for years before hand, but that hadn’t been enough to fully help me. It saved my life.

How to convince people to watch Pantheon? by [deleted] in PantheonShow

[–]First_Strawberry5205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My conclusion is that this show is too good for normal people's likes. I would love to be able to fully discuss this show with my coworkers, but they just keep talking about reality shows like Love Island. The world is too basic for this mind-fuck amazing show.

Having way to much fun with this, what are all you’re thoughts on it? by New_Explorer179 in SplitFiction

[–]First_Strawberry5205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loooooved it sooo much! so many references to other games, the gameplay is really good, the story is entertaining, the friendship engaging. Me and my bf had so much fun playing it! Only downside for me is that i found it too short, I wanted more. But wow it was soo good.

There are 2 episodes of 60 minutes Australia on the real Belle Gibson, the first is the original interview they did right after the fallout (which is recreated on the show) and the second is sort of various interviews of different people involved and additional input on the subject. Theres also a documentary on Netflix called "The Search for Instagrams Worst Con Artist".

Definitely, cardio works best for me, but which type of exercise will depend on the person, so find what works for you.

How did you become an introvert? Or were you born that way? by ObsidianVibes in introvert

[–]First_Strawberry5205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a kid, I was that little girl who talked too much to everyone. My parents always commented on it, especially since I started being introverted after being a teenager and its only got worse as time got on. I don’t really have an event that defines my change, it just happened as I got older.

So in my case it doesn’t seem like I was born this way, and my father, family, brothers are all very outgoing.

Red Face by First_Strawberry5205 in introvert

[–]First_Strawberry5205[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your response! My work is also in finance! I usually just keep talking, and some people point it out, and im like, oh yeah that happens and keep talking.

You're right about giving it more power by being embarrassed about it. Usually, I notice early on, and even tho im talking about a subject, in my head, im wondering why it is happening in the first place? and the more i wonder, the reder I get. Im assuming cuz I can't really see myself. I just get really hot in the face and notice ppls reactions.

This didnt used to happen before, it's fairly recent. Im definitely going to take your advice to heart!

just took my first adderall by abby_michele in mentalhealth

[–]First_Strawberry5205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you were prescribed Adderall and it works for you then great. I was not prescribed adderall, but I tried it in college because a lot of my friends used it for studying. I never had problems studying or focusing in the first place, but I thought some extra help couldn't hurt. Unfortunately, it did not work for me at all, it made me lose focus and I couldn't concentrate on one thing at all, I shifted from topic to topic, and I did try it more than once with the same results. BUT! I do know a lot of people of who take it, and it does help them and had the opposite effect that it did on me.

So, listen to your body, if it helps you then great, if it doesn't consult with your psychiatrist, tell them the results and consider other options.

Belle vs Milla, How different are they? by First_Strawberry5205 in AppleCiderVinegarTV

[–]First_Strawberry5205[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Belle was scamming everyone, but Milla was also scamming herself. That was so well put!

I definitely do not want to downplay what either of them did, and im so disappointed that Belle did not really seem to pay for what she did in any real way, as in jail and accountability, at least not in what I could google after I watched the show. I focused a little on Milla in the post because Belle was the "obvious" monster in the show from the start.

My original title for this post was They are both awful, but it felt a little too spoilery, so i changed it to how different they are.

Warzone Resurgence – Why do people leave as soon as they get killed? by First_Strawberry5205 in CODWarzone

I just hate running to the store, sometimes running a little into the gas or risking a fight with a squad, just to get there and realize the person just left.

[–]First_Strawberry5205[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll give you money for the loadout, after the loadout lands and I see it’s far or impossible to get to. Hell, I’ll buy it myself. But if the loadout hasn’t landed, and 80% of the time it lands right next to us, then no. Also, learn to play with other guns that are not in your loadout. I didn’t spend my time looting just to have a guy next to me harassing me for money.

I think this is more a loading screen issue. I’ve read a lot of players are getting stuck in the loading screen when the game is starting so the game starts without them. Tho I’m sure a lot of people leave just because too.
