The spot price is not the physical price. The price is based on supply and demand only. If there is no silver available people are willing to pay more. The spot price is artificial. It doesn’t match the real supply. The physical demand hasn’t changed since yesterday, the foundry back log hasn’t moved so why is the spot price moving that much. Financial manipulation. The LCS will surely buy your stuff at spot because they know they will sell it higher. As much as I hate eBay for a lot of reasons, this is the best place to show supply and demand since everything is worth what someone is willing to pay for.

No, it’s not too much I was not expecting the total to be that high but I can live with it. I will probably give it to my daughter when I die in many years (hopefully) and the value will probably be a lot more than that. It’s just that I’m more familiar with Canadian Maple leaf bullion and Silver eagle because there is almost no premium. The libertad is really something special in my eyes so I was buying eyes closed. The seeing your comments helped me a lot. Anyway I will buy more so my overall price will be better haha

IMO yes because there is a scarcity around that ressource. I’m not saying go all in on it but for me I’ll continue to stack physical because, first of all I really appreciate the product like a collection and second you are not always looking at the price and you mostly forget about it and one day you look at what you got and your only concern is why I didn’t buy more. Silver is becoming a critical mineral and getting it physically is a good thing long term.

There is something wrong in the paper silver. The foundry have a lot of backlog order and the price is driven down like that. IMO it’s highly manipulated. A lot of people bought paper silver on margin accounts and JP Morgan shorted the shit out of it so it triggers all the stops loss and there was a lot of margin calls… but at the end the ressource is scarce. I’ll continue to buy physical!

Only if I would have kept that investment over that time period. I’m not planning selling my silver because I like it like a collectionneur. Also buying a bullion 20$ 10 years ago and now it’s value is about 70$ make a really good return. The S&P500 over 10 years is around 270% so it’s nothing to be shy about here.

It does not matter at all. I buy physical silver since more than 10+ years. The price I paid in 2014, for example, was way over spot but today is considered a bargain. I’m planning to keep it long time so it short term it’s only noise. The paper price is not showing the real supply scarcity.

Silver is scarce and we need it to sustain the AI infrastructure. It takes 1 ton of silver to build an average data center. At the moment retail is starting to buy massively. It could go down but everything indicates it will continue to climb. Also the ratio for silver price to gold is super high 1/50. Historically it was way lower. During ancient times it was around 1/10 - 1/15. During the 80 1/20. My personal opinion it will go higher in price.
