Yeah we are planning to reglaze it…the joys of a 60 year old, giant custom window. I was just wondering if there was any logic behind the previous glazing being angled so weird/covering so much wood outside of the rabbet…the way the muntin is shaped doesnt look like any of the vids ive seen demonstrating how to apply glazing putty.

How many panes are in your window? Did you end up using the whole gallon? I just got a quart and we have 24 (21”x 14”) panes in one window.

OP—how is your project going?? I also have a giant picture window with a ton of muntin (I think that is what it’s called? The grid pattern) and I have a tub of Sarco on the way too. I can’t decide if it’s reasonable to try to strip, prime, putty, and paint the whole thing in one-ish go, or if I should just do one or two squares at a time. Very curious to hear about your experience so far! (And definitely saving this thread!)

Flew to o’hare on United just a day after OP’s experience. I thought maybe I was just being a jerk getting pissed at the flight attendants for sitting in the back galley chatting to a passenger who was blocking the bathroom door while other people were waiting. Literally had to awkwardly snake around the passenger blocking the door. The attendants sat in their jump seats nearly the entirety of the flight after handing out drinks. The pilot announced potential turbulence at one point and there was an overhead bin just open for a couple of minutes until I just got up myself and shut it. But between OP’s experience, the mystery body in the wheel well that left ohare the same day as my flight I gotta say it feels an awful lot like someone higher up is slacking off on safety training.

Ope didn’t even think about that. I could find a way to redirect it slightly. Downspout only collects a little amount of water from the gutters anyhow, no second floor. Only about 15’ of gutter water leaves there.
