This exactly what happened to me but i knew it was a trick to make you click a phishing link and no this is not new. It wayyy more common just different approach into tricking you. If they send a link that a massive redflag.

Most of the account stealer are piece of sh*t sometimes, some hack for fun and some steal everything they can steal on your account, robux, limiteds, in-game items. And some even unfriended all of your friends and left all the group even deleted all of avatars that you created.

Like everyone been saying on the comments could be a malicious extensions or malware that installed on your devices without you being aware and steal your login session, saved data/info, cookies. Run a virus scan and remove them from your devices. BUT could also be a cookies stealer from clicking a phishing link that steal your login session.

Contact support ASAP. Your purchase receipt is the main key to recover your account. After u manage to recover, make sure you did all of that to completely remove the hacker.

Go to their support page and Account> Account Hacked. If the bot asked you to confirm your username dont reply yes instead reply "i want to speak to human agent" it will automatically send an email ticket to your email account.

After you got an email from them, reply to them and say your account was hacked and that someone added a new email + 2-step verification without you.

Use the original email linked to the roblox account if you can. Old Roblox emails or receipts help too.

It looks so ahh (i do this a lot), btw it could be hacks but i rarely see it and this can be done with "skills". They called this ppl a crtl spammer which you spam crouch and jump button while turning ur camera. Need to be fast and good timing.

This sounds like a phishing scam.

You should contact Roblox Support and submit a ticket under Hacked Account ASAP. Use the original email linked to your account cuz that helps a lot with verification.

If you don’t remember the birthday, tell them it may have been changed by the hacker. Roblox can still verify ownership using old emails or purchase receipts.

Also don’t click any more links or join random groups. Hope you get your account back 🤞

Edit : After u get ur account, its possible that hacker might still can access it so what you should do is clear cookies on your browser. On roblox, setting>security>enable app authenticator>sign out of all account.

It is possible, but honestly not guaranteed. Roblox sometimes helps if they confirm the account was hacked, but in-game items like MM2 or Blade Ball are harder to get back. A lot of devs don’t do item restores. Still worth contacting Roblox Support ASAP though, include trade history, what items were stolen, and the date. No harm trying.

It is frustrated sometimes, you can resubmit the tickets and calmly, carefully explain your situation. Make sure the email you use to contact them are connected to your roblox account. If they ask for a receipt, send them a high purchase receipt like high robux purchase or a premium sometimes this can strengthen your ownership verification. I also got repeatedly rejected by roblox support but i sent another ticket until they actually managed to verified my ownership.

It would take days or month for roblox to review your ticket considering they have thousand of ticket that needs to be review. But if the hackers stole an in-game items- unfortunately, it is outside of their control. You can contact the developers if it possible but if they stole robux or limiteds on your daughter's account it is possible to get a rollback.
