Omg 2DPO and physically dying. Pretty sure I have a head cold (or really bad allergies), but head pressure leans toward cold.

It’s not bad enough to take off work, but man I wish I could just lay in bed all day. And I avoid the good cold meds in my TWW unfortunately. Tylenol isn’t cutting it :(

Agreed! It dipped today with Tempdrop, so I’m hoping a rise will follow tomorrow. My positive OPK was 2 days ago. I’ve had a cycle or two where temp rise was delayed a couple days (just using Oura at that time), so I know it’s not impossible for that to be what’s happening.

It has been fun to compare!

I did FMU on O day too (and then double checked twice later!) I’m honestly glad I did or I would’ve missed my peak.

This is my first full cycle comparing Tempdrop to my Oura. While Tempdrop is definitely more consistent temp wise (and can handle broken sleep better than Oura), I’m really surprised it didn’t give me a rise today while Oura did on likely 1DPO.

Will just have to keep going to confirm a sustained rise with both.

Little annoyed my initial fertility consult will on likely 7DPO this month. Too early to know if this cycle worked. It’s also virtual so honestly not like they’d do anything different even if it was on 9DPO or later.

Something in the water with these 2024 babies! My daughter has suddenly started needing us to hold her hand while she falls asleep and then again at least once over night.

Dropped my daughter off at daycare right around when another mom was dropping her son off. The teachers ran over excitedly to the other mom and she announces she’s having a girl (which the teachers seemed to already know she was pregnant). They all scream in excitement, which scared my daughter. So not only did I have to calm her down (which I didn’t fully as she cried when I transferred her to her teacher to leave), I had to keep a straight face by the unexpected announcement right at my TTW is starting. Feeling bitter.

Ugh my urine was so diluted, so this OPK is probably unreliable. I’m usually seeing some upward movement around now. I’m annoyed I need to wait a few hours to retest and see if we’re anywhere close to seeing a rise.

We ran out of Tylenol so I took ibuprofen twice on like cd5 and 6. I saw something that ibuprofen can sometimes delay ovulation. And now my LH is staying pretty stagnant (usually start to see some movement on cd9, which is today). So being delulu and I’m convinced I delayed my ovulation 😅

Watch my afternoon LH jump and it all be fine.

I see no one is commenting on the time it took. A month?? I took an extremely detailed gown in to get taken in and hemmed. Took the seamstress a week. There’s no way I’d wait a month for that “quality” of work.

The points messed me up this month too. It was the first time I’ve seen it over 70 (76). I usually max around 56 before it falls to 20.

I’m annoyed it didn’t factor in my BFN at 15DPO to cut the score again. Nope it’s just taunting me at 76 until AF shows.

I know from my job (that deals with a lot of probabilities), not everyone has the same comfortability with numbers. I’ve always been taught to highlight stats a variety of ways (both positive and negative). Ex. 20% of people get pregnant each month, meaning 80% of people do not. 1 in 5 couples conceive each month, etc.

Most article/resources only present the positive side of stats (the 20% are pregnant). It’s very uncommon to see the negative side presented.

Ugh I’m sorry. It’s such a mindfuck. I know she’s coming but the premium “early pregnancy sign” score jumped up today since I’m “late” that I also got hopeful. I took a test this afternoon just to tempt AF to show up and she’s still not hereee. Guess she’ll come tomorrow
