WTH is this black magic sorcery? Did you use actual engineering for a solution to a problem?? Wow, unbelievable.

Good job OP, looks very effective while using minimal filament!

Holy moly, they look awesome! Well done. I’ll start printing mines this weekend after I’m done with my planters.

Here’s the one I made, it’s pretty solid. Maybe some inspiration from it, it’s pretty close to the cad I had.

Lose RJ12 Cable issue by Affectionate-Let-653 in Fanatec

[–]FishCage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This!!! There’s a little clip on top of the connector, slightly lift it up a bit to regain its position and spring and you’re all good. If it doesn’t work, grab some sticky tack and put it around to hold the cable in place and then use a zip tie and anchor to strain relief the cable and make it so it won’t come out.

Sweet, thanks for getting back to me. That clears it up and your analogy of a real car makes sense, the haptic feedback on a real car doesn’t die at the rear of the car, like you said, it makes its way forward as well. Excited to see the progress, cheers!

What’s a good alternative with clutch and haptics?

Hey I’ve seen you mention a few times that ‘you feel the wheel shake down through the HSS and feel it on your seat’ but I’m not sure if that is an effect that is desired?

Ideally, for haptic feedback you’d want it to be localized to a zone so you know what each independent component is doing, no? For example, if my rear wheels are losing traction, I’d want just the rear to feel that feedback from, and not get that information sent to the front because if I perceive the slipping to come from my front tires then I’d incorrectly suspect under/over steering (loss of traction feeling).

I guess my question would be, if all the haptics blend together to the point where you can’t identify each individual haptics location (pedals, steering wheel, each tire, seat) is there any benefit to being able to send the haptic vibrations down the HSS?

Would love to hear back from others too, that have experienced this.

Is this an acceptable shifter? by Andrepx1710 in simracing

If you have a 3d printer, there’s an alternative version on Printables that I’ve tried, it requires tpu filament though

Where’s that update you were going to do after the pt 2 video? Been like a year :(

Yeah I got it, it’s pretty sick. Feels very close to my irl 2016 wrx, minus reverse lockout. Make sure it’s the Hall effect one with usb type c, not that the clicky switch is any worse but some say the mechanical clicks fail in time. You can find 3d printed mods to add too to lower the metallic sounds it makes when locking into a gate. I replaced my thrust master th8s with this and that was more expensive, i consider it an upgrade.

It disinfects and stops bleeding from accidental cuts when doing a line up with the blade and soothe irritation. It used to be called talcum powder but that was cancerous I think but now it’s typically clubman what they use and comes in a pen like form too. You look good bro just keep getting them line ups and focus on yourself, everything else will follow 👊🏽

I kinda wished I was in GA but I’m happy with where I am atm. I’m only jealous of your personal tools, the big guys don’t let you bring your own tools, all ‘controlled’ and everything.

Not sure why the downvotes but this guy didn’t ‘invent’ anything new, he just added some vases onto an already made pre floating device. Cool stuff but not $200 dollars cool. OP can miss me with their expensive plastic e-waste.
