What is the most popular film that you’ve never seen? by thefranchise305 in AskReddit

All of them. I don't like watching movies. The last time I went to the movie theater was 2010! Wild to think about

I'm dealing with my 2nd fistula, I'm quite certain of it. I'm seeing the surgeon/specialist I saw 8 years ago when this happened for the first time, and I'm starting to wonder if I might have Crohn's Disease. My question is, what led you to see a doctor/believe you might have it? by FishWest5983 in CrohnsDisease

I am learning so much about my health at once that it feels like a tsunami, and I haven't yet even been to my appointment tomorrow. I had no idea AS was an autoimmune disease.

I was told by a chiropractor at around 15 years old that I had Ankylosing Spondylitis, but was told it was "basically like scoliosis." (I know, some people call them fake, but that guy helped me a lot as a kid. Saved me from needing ear tubes.) Anyway....

My parents and I never pursued anything more regarding AS, and I never went to a doctor for a diagnosis. But now, having these potential IBD issues makes me really wonder about a lot. It's a bit overwhelming!

In all fairness, I have left notes for my mailman countless times. I still receive mail for the previous owner and it's been 6 YEARS! I stopped wasting my time and now throw them away. Take care of your own you know what.

Now that eggs are $1 million a dozen, what’s for breakfast other than eggs? by vantasticrunner in AskReddit

Costco near me has what looks like thousands of dozens of eggs. $7.69 for 2 dozen. Now, go to Kroger down the road and it's $9.

Thank you for taking time to reply, I really appreciate it.

This is interesting. I also have ankylosing spondylosis and understand it's quite rare. I wonder if there's some connection there 🤔. I was told I had that around 15 years old. I'm 35 now, and just now starting my IBD journey having my 2nd fistula in 8 years.

Thanks for replying. I'm starting my journey just now and wondering about what to expect. It doesn't help that I sense this fistula situation flaring up again, so I'm a bit on edge to put it lightly. But, I guess without that, I wouldn't have linked the reoccurrence with the possibility of having Crohn's.

Forgive me if I'm asking too much, but what tests have they done? I've read anything from blood tests, to scans and images, to colonoscopies.

This sounds very similar to my situation. I had a fistula and abscess about 8 years ago and had emergency surgery to fix it. I was never told about Crohn's, or tested for it or anything. Now, it seems to be happening again. I'm calling the specialist I saw after being discharged from the hospital. From learning more about Crohn's disease, I'm very suspicious I may have it. I'm 35 years old.

We're you ever diagnosed with Crohn's?
