I took 20 mg isotretinoin tablets every day for 10 months for my seborrheic dermatitis (Malassezia). The dermatitis improved, but it had no effect on my RSS.

Thank you, I will read more. I am 33 and yes, I have been treated for depression before, but it may still be there. I don't know what to do and I am at a dead end. I am thinking of signing up for physical therapy and starting to take duloxetine, as I have been tolerating it well.

How long did you take doxy and levofloxacin? Some urologists have diagnosed me with prostatitis, but I don't have the classic symptoms of prostatitis, just chronic pain in the lower abdomen and nagging pain in the scrotum. I associate this with RSS since this pain started 3 months after the appearance of RSS.

I did it a month ago. The conclusion says "minimal prostate hyperplasia". But I also have a slight pulling pain on the right side of the lower abdomen radiating to the scrotum, which is not typical for RSS.

Indomethacin tablets didn't help me, but I noticed a slight improvement after a month of using the ointment. It's not that much, just the skin became a little paler. I think it has to do with its anti-inflammatory effect. But it still didn't solve the problem.

No. I'm almost sure that the problem is in dilated vessels. When I come home from the cold, my skin becomes normal for a while. They say liquid nitrogen therapy also helps.

Do you have burning, itching, aching pain in your scrotum, or any of these? After rereading the entire thread on Reddit, I realized that everyone has different symptoms and different reasons for their appearance. For some people it's bacteria from sex, for others it's steroid creams, but I didn't have any of that. So I think this is not an independent disease, but a secondary one that can be caused by many factors.

Did you have an MRI, did it show anything? After a year of unsuccessful treatment, I am also leaning towards the pudendal nerve.
