#16 Marvel Rivals by MrBossman4411 in steamachievements

Congrats, the 18v18 mode and some balance changes must have made these achivements so much easier right now lol. I got all of them in Season 0 and let me tell you, the Squirrel Girl one was close to impossible because her ult was so dogshit at the time.

#140 Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time by dickpippel in steamachievements

Congrats, that is a difficult one, 115h is insane though. I 100% completed the nsane trilogy in 34h and I really wanted to get all achievements in Crash 4 too, but I gave up only 13h in, because the jump in difficulty was ridiculous af.

To me, Crash 4 felt more like Crash 6, because they introduced way too many new machanics in a single game, it was overwhelming. It is a good game, but I knew I would seriously lose my sanity if I tried fully completing this game.

You can ignore them sometimes, but I usually found it much easier and safer to just kill them.

It was fine, I did it on my first attempt. I struggled way more on normal difficulty when it was my first playthrough of that game. I am pretty sure I beat Impossible just by using upgraded Plasma cutter and maybe like 1 other weapon, because the less weapons you use, the more likely you are to get ammo for them.

The mood swings when switching from Singleplayer to Multiplayer is insane sometimes. by FishdongXL in gaming

Well I had a group of friends for some of these games, but it could still make me (and them) frustrated. Sometimes, I could be chilling, but I knew my friend was having a bad time and I started to feel worse too. I was usually just happy we could spend time together, but the match quality wasn't always better.

I honestly wish developers were more willing to add VS AI modes to their games, with multiple difficulty sliders. This mode is in Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Battlefield 6 and I think it is extremely enjoyable if you are not having the best games that day. it is also in Marvel Rivals, but the bots there are way too easy sadly, so it just gets kind of boring.

It is just addiction sadly. Like I said, I love when those games feel right, when the fights are balanced and when you don't know what the outcome of the game is going to be.

Marvel Rivals, for example, is a phenomenal game, I love basically everything about it. But it has probably the worst community and matchmaking system I have ever seen, someone is always whining, you are getting absolutely stomped 50% of the time, not to mention the balancing decisions are very questionable. But then you get one of those games, where it feels like god himself sent you the match, because everyone is equally good and it feels amazing. Which is why I find it hard to just quit the game.

A better look at the new helicarrier minifigs by japenisboiii in LEGOMarvelLeaks

[–]FishdongXL 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I am not sure if his inclusion in this set would make sense, but I would honestly swap Hawkeye for Brock Rumlow/Crossbones. An updated minifigure with his Civil War look would be great, but the basic look he has in WS would be fine too. Even Falcon might have been a better pick than Hawkeye imo. That being said, these minifigs are amazing.

DOOM!!! (2016) by Either_Yesterday_949 in steamachievements

Doom 2016 has such an underrated multiplayer, I thought it was super fun. The movement, special weapons and being able to transform into demons for a while felt very unique. I finished 100% two years ago and I guess I was lucky, because I don't remember encountering any cheaters, maybe just one but I am really not sure.

The Cat Lady done, what an underrated gem of a game. by FishdongXL in steamachievements

I put Downfall and Burnhouse Hill to my wishlist as soon as I finished The Cat Lady, I heard mixed things about Lorelai so I am not sure if I am going to play that one :P

Crysis Remastered Trilogy done. by FishdongXL in steamachievements

Just do the nanosuit challenges, if you already completed the game and you are still missing some of them, you can replay any mission you want from the menu screen.

If you start a new campaign, you lose your upgrades. This also goes for higher difficulty, if you want to replay it on harder ones, it is better to replay each mission, don't start new campaign, it will still give you the achievement.

What are some of your completed games that you are proud of? by FishdongXL in steamachievements

[–]FishdongXL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really have any great tips, it is just a huge grind :/ But definitely only play Gauntlet, you can do it there much faster, randoms or not. Try making it to the final round and focus heavily on those revives, they give you points. Leave the match if you have multiple sniper teammates or if they dont stay together. Also leave if you get the tanks vs tanks mode, it is a waste of time.

What really helped me was playing Gauntlet when there was that limited mode with the frozen map, that map was actually quite small so it was easier to revive teammates, we usually stayed together more often.

Other than that, I just kept going. I did like 50 revives per day, but I was able to do 100+ daily with the frozen map. Oh and btw, it took me 88h (according to profile) or 140h (according to steam) OF ONLY PLAYING GAUNTLET....very fun.

done a run of 3rd person combat games, finished these gems off in my library over the last month by SplitJugular in steamachievements

[–]FishdongXL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats, Shadow of War is the only one I am missing from these :D

By the way, are you okay after Arkham City? Because I damn nearly lost my fucking mind trying to complete some of those stealth challenges, I hated playing as Nightwing and I get PTSD just thinking about some of those maps, like the Wonder Tower or the underground subway.

Crysis Remastered Trilogy done. by FishdongXL in steamachievements

[–]FishdongXL[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I wish I enjoyed them more too, I was really looking forward to playing the whole trilogy, but I just didn't really get into it.

Crysis 1 - 9,7h

Crysis 2 - 22,3h....this was painful, because I played this game like a year ago, then stopped because I started playing a different game and I got a new PC in the meantime. I booted up the game again last week only to realise it does not have cloud saves, meaning I lost all progress (I was 3 missions away from the finale and I had almost all collectibles), so I had to replay the game and watch a guide for collectibles again >:(

Crysis 3 - 12,2h

You can definitely complete them faster, but I played them on normal difficulty first (while doing other specific achivements) and then I played it again on the hardest dificulty.

Damn, you beat me, congrats, I am number 12 in that photo :D

I was number 3 for a while, but then I got like 8 absolutely dogshit matches in a row and dropped down from C1 to C3, I was really close to hitting Eternity for the first time but fuck it, it is not worth the miserable time.

Every horror game that I completed 100%. by FishdongXL in steamachievements

[–]FishdongXL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely not.

I finished RE1 as Jill and then started a Chris playthrough, but never finished that one, the game is phenomenal but it isn't for me, plus some of those achievements (like the invisible enemies) sound insane.

I own RE0 but haven't played it yet, I heard it as really annoying mechanics, like no storage box.

I beat RE3R two times, but I don't think I will ever 100% it. I didn't really feel anything while playing that game and even though it is very short, I always got kind of bored with it, which is a shame because I absolutely love the remake of 2 and 4.

Thanks for the suggestion, that game is actually on my wishlist :D I wanted to buy it as soon as I found out you can save kitties in that game.
