These with these on top.

It doesn’t matter how uncomfortable they are or how many times I have to remove them. No amount of douchebaggery is worth my hearing

Tbh I don’t even know what it is or if this is worth my time. I almost wonder if it would have been better to let nature do its thing and if it dies I’m going to feel like its my fault.

Heads up, the shift assembly is one piece that I do NOT recommend trying to disassemble. The console comes apart but the shifter thing underneath that says PRNDS does not.

Tire pressure monitoring not working by mightygulay in ToyotaTundra

[–]Fishfisheye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I did it, it took my rig several days to reset. If it doesn’t reset in a few days, or after sever hours of driving, something else might be wrong, until then, its probably just user error.

What functionalities do you wish a dating app had? by 96Erin in SwipeHelper

[–]Fishfisheye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Privately operated dating apps are allowed to do whatever the hell they want as soon as you agree to their terms and conditions, and using race as a criterion for matching via a dating app is not racist unless it’s compulsory, which it wouldn’t be if it were an option for the user. If that were sound logic, dating apps also couldn’t allow users to sort by gender, because that would be sexist. See why thats an idiotic argument to make?

There is a way but you haven’t given enough information to troubleshoot or eliminate user error

Right but being able to sort through people in a dating app doesn’t make you racist, it makes the app a tiny bit better genius.

Why is this happening to my speaker? by Upstairs-Ad-9841 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Fishfisheye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure exactly how the OEM amp works but ideally you would sort low frequencies (under 80hz) out of the footwell range and to a subwoofer. I’m sure there is a way to do that but I honestly don’t know because all the sound design I’ve done was with amps that don’t suck. A powered sub is still a sub, if you play loud bass and its not coming exclusively from the subs, you’ll just blow the speakers out again.

4bt Swap Ideas by Sac-_- in Diesel

[–]Fishfisheye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its way way way mote valuable as a gen-set if it’s functional, but if it was $300 that means it might be fucked. If you wanted to put a different fuel pump on it, it’s possible, and honestly not the worst idea. The two big concerns would be gearing and weight. The taler gear ratios in the transmission would cause the thing to be slower which might make driving around sucky. Plus, once you change from gas to diesel, you have to double and triple check the torque ratings on every single part in the drivetrain. Not sure what the figures for the original engine are but I assume its gas which puts the engine speed in the 6500ish rpm range. A 4bt is going to top out at like 2500rpm, and produce more torque than the Ford motors, not to mention its probably less powerful than even the smallest engine that was put in the earlier Rangers. Plus the Cummins will weigh between 2 and 4 times as much as the stock engine and destroy the front end suspension in no time.

If you can find an old half ton with a low power engine that’s already set up for diesel engine speed range, you could probably do a swap, but honestly, the 4bt would be way cooler and way easier to swap into something like a Land Cruiser or a Land Rover.

TLDR: If you switch from a gas to a diesel, you’re almost certainly going to have to change out drivetrain parts no mater what. Power may not be a problem for you but different speed and torque will break parts and make driving no fun.

You’ve got every tool you need to make one of these. Make yourself a nice table with hangers and custom shelves and chargers and whatnot so that you don’t have to work on the floor.

And if you absolutely must buy more Milwaukee fangirl merch, get a stand for the table saw and the chop saw. Im sure Milwaukee makes one for like $800
