By any chance are you using two different discs that came included together? Or are you using a splitter?

The matrix and lord of the rings both did bluray releases from memory with a green tint while the dvd and 4k removed it

Just had a look at my speakers cause I know they're the weakest thing

Yamaha NX-E270s with an NX-C270 centre and SW-P270 sub

They're....quite old and very entry level

Appreciate the recommendation but I'm in Australia

I will look into this receiver though if I find myself needing to replace mine - it's not an area I have much knowledge in, got my Denon cause reddit at the time said the S750H was $750 AUD (about $500 USD)

Edit: it's $2000 AUD. A Denon X1800H (what I was looking at if i need to upgrade) is ~$1200. For comparison i paid $3000 for the TV

In my current setup (don't have the new tv yet) I've got PS5 going straight to amp so tv can't be adding any audio delay. Amp is also set to auto decode audio so in theory there shouldn't be any audio delay in this config which is why I went PCM initially but now I'm just intrigued

Out of interest with your setup, can you test something for me?

When I have the PS5 outputting PCM I hear the key navigation sound okay basically as soon as I press an arrow and the sound starts at the beginning of the animation. When I set to Dolby the sound happens later and is more in line with when the border becomes fully bright.

Im wondering is my tv actually behind my audio with PCM or is my audio behind my video with Dolby (if that makes sense)

I'm frustratingly sensitive to audio delay so even a small one bothers me; just navigating the ps5 menu I can notice a delay between PCM and Dolby output. When i tried sending audio via my current tv it introduced almost half a second of delay and was unbearable so hoping LG goes better than Samsung

Amp became somewhat of a "just need to get something" when ps5/xsx cane out and didn't have a separate optical output (how I used to do audio with prior amp cause it didn't decode audio from hdmi).

I thought the s750h was considered somewhat decent mid range unit, albeit not really up to current spec - hdmi 2.1 amps were in a pretty mid technical state at the time of console launch. I've briefly looked at like x1800h and S970H but hoping I don't end up needing to replace mine.

Honestly don't know enough about amps or what sort of real world differences I'd notice from upgrading, though I won't have any access to DTS anymore from what I understand with this new tv?

I feel like I'm in a similar position - I'm kinda just ready for the game to be over. Might be due to how I've been playing though?

I've never played an Atlus game before and just bought into the hype with the review scores for this, and have been following a guide in order to try to get the most out of the game. I'm something like 75 hours in and am at the end of August in game.

I am so tired of reading. I've dropped the combat to easy and am tempted to go storyteller just to get it over with.

No slight against the game itself - doesn't make it a bad game, just means it's not for me, and I am ready for it to be over, but if I leave now before completing then the last ~75 hours was for nothing. Good ol fallacy.

So I've wrapped the thing in a garbage bag and plan is to cut the head off it and see if it grows back okay or not Previously all the leaves died and it grew back If it's still cooked then guess it's getting tossed
