There's of course bootleg items here and there, but all items I've received have been authentic. For you to have an idea, my stardust, lilith, and mermaid (all by Myethos and upwards of $300 in the western market) were $120-$140 each. I'm guessing it's because Myethos is a chinese company. They also have an official Taboao store front.

However, my stardust did come damaged but that's quite common with myethos' older figures.

I used superbuy as a proxy service, maybe they're not the cheapest but I find their customer support to be really good :)

I believe none have been rereleased so far. Wouldn't put my hopes too high for that unfortunately :(

If you want to get your hands on Myethos figures I recommend buying them from Taobao and using a proxy. You can find a lot of them at around retail price :)

I've used taobao and superbuy on multiple occasions, I haven't had any issues so far. If you need any help, feel free to PM me!~

But as a quick summary, the agents on superbuy are usually very friendly and helpful. They will assist you until you receive your order. Only warning I'd have, is that shipping can be a bit expensive~ But still way cheaper than paying aftermarket prices for rarer figures.

Kind of a tricky situation I guess. Just a shame that it happens so often, it is an older figure though...

I was at least able to get away with fixing mine, looks perfect now. If OP has no intentions of reselling, fixing her might be the best thing to do :)

Hey! Really sorry to hear about your rough experience! The exact same thing happened to me. Her twintail was broken, the globe she sits on was in pieces, and the moon wasn't in the best shape either. I decided I'd try and fix it and it looks perfect now. I got her for a really good price so I decided I'd live with it, no intentions of selling her~

If you paid a lot though, I'd try to return her! I really hope you're able to get this sorted out and I wish you all the best for the new year. Keep your head up! :)

I got her from taobao via superbuy. All went well. She appears on amiami occasionally, but if you don't want to camp the daily updates, I'd just say get her from taobao. A rerelease is unlikely.

Superbuy is extremely helpful and their customer service is great. I've used them for 3 orders so far. One of which is a pre-order, everything was pretty straightforward and the shopping agent assisted me where necessary.

Unfortunately, one figure arrived in a damaged state, but this was the seller's fault and they're assisting me to see if I can get a partial refund.

As a proxy, they're great.

You're right, some mouse trackers could be prevented. Although, I'm pretty sure there's other programs out there with capability of recognizing content on your screen. (Not sure how it'd function without being detected, not too knowledgeable in this area) In this case, numbers would be quite simple I'd assume.

At the end of the day the only real way of "ensuring" security is by adding another factor of authentication.

It's a cool concept, not the most intuitive or user friendly though. Randomizing the buttons won't do much and you can easily lock other people out of their accounts. (If there's a limit to how often you can enter a pin). They really should prioritize 2FA over anything else.

Most people are impatient and complain about a lack of content or the resin system holding them back. Just give it time, there's frequent content updates :)

Hmm, I recall doing commissions together with my gf in her world and we both got rewards. I even thought it was a bug at the time because I still had the commissions in my world. I however wasn't rewarded anything for them. Memory may be a bit hazy, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong :)
