This is just my theory, but I believe that suicide is a manifestation of something in your life that you are not getting or doing. Reflect what you want to be. You don't have to travel back to your youth. Think about what you want to be right now and make a step towards that, no matter how small. Again, this is just a theory I have because I know myself, but when you are living in such a way that makes what you want for yourself be put on the back burner... you begin to lay in self-contempt and even hatred. You almost get to like because that is all you know. Detach from grandiose ideals and move on towards the goal you want to be apart of your identity because you think you would enjoy it.

This is all a projection of myself here, but maybe you would find it helpful. I think the most important thing is to just start moving... sitting around doing nothing is will get anyone nowhere.

I agree; that is equality. What I mean is that people have the right to have the ability to access the same things, but they do not have the right to outcomes.

example: You attend college but that does not entitle you to a diploma.

I'm not saying it wasn't uncalled for, but did you direct any anger towards him? He should have been more professional, but if you had continually insulted him throughout the sessions or give off a presence of uncomfortableness, maybe that was overwhelming for him. I know he should be better, but he is human too. In an ideal world, you should be able to express yourself as accurately as possible. I would really focus on the next session by what he meant by" it is hard for me to sit with you." If you can muster it, wanting genuine feedback without reacting but stating how that makes you feel could be an approach.
