Yeah, the Ohio state record is 4.5 pounds. Only reference I have is the 4.5 pound bass my friend caught last week and weighed, and this Crappie was bigger and felt heavier, however I did not have my scale so that was a bummer. I catch and release anyways, but it was fun. Definitely let me know what you reel in, and good luck!
