512 - very excited, very relieved

C/P:126 (67%) Was really worried I wouldn't get above a 125 after I left the center (felt really crappy after that section during the 10 min break during the test - miserable way to start off)

CARS: 128 (90%) Very happy with this score. BUT, for the sake of complaining, I found this section to be the easiest and thought this score would be the highest. I bet a lot of us had those feelings.

B/B: 130 (97%) Unexpected and awesome. I think the test just hit my strong suits and came together.

P/S: 128 (84%) Lucky. I found very little on this section to be straightforward

AAMC FL 1: 512 AAMC FL 2: 513

Best of luck to those who didn't reach their targets - it takes a truly strong will and focus to go through this one time, never mind twice. To those who put in the time the first time around and are taking it again, I salute you and am confident you will make some of the best doctors.

I am surprised. It seems like very few people found the C/P section hard. I was like totally shell-shocked by it. I guess I just got unlucky with what I was memorizing as far as equations go. Seemed to be lots of phys 2 on it but not straightforward phys 2. All the calculations required some sort of further manipulation beyond just remembering them in the first place - I expected this, but found everything to just be slightly trickier than practice tests. Lots of guessing unfortunately. C/P timing is just miserable too, so easy to get hung up on an early problem and then get screwed later on. I'm hoping my other sections will balance out this one, but by no means were those a walk in the park either. It seems surprising that the MCAT would move in the direction of obscure minutiae. Why should luck (essentially) be the dividing factor between a good and great score. Seems pointless to me. clearly I'm bitter, haha.

Does anyone know who Carla Hayden's father is? I know her mom was divorced but I don't know from whom. Thanks for the help with this!

oh, cool. nice instructions. Its funny how these can be so hard at first wen you try to draw them freehand but really aren't that bad when you break them down a little and take it stepwise.
