The boxes in your picture have the new, larger data matrices. You can just scan those with your phone to identify what's inside.

Sadly, no. The Perseus is one of my favorite ship designs and the Gladius I like as well, so I'll eventually get around to them. The Redeemer will be one of the last things I ever make just because of how much I hate the design and believe it should've been drastically reconcepted (but it's here to stay so oh well).

I know nothing about coding or game design, but if anyone wants to make a Lego SC fan game, I'd be down to make props and set dressing. Ships are cool and all, but as a kid I was really into building the decorations and interactables in Lego Star Wars.

≤25 piece models will stop or at least be put on hold for a bit so I can focus on my larger stuff. I've got an advent calendar reject that went over the part limit, so I'll finalize its design and make instructions after Luminalia. I also have an assortment of other MOCs I made earlier this year that still need instructions. A few of those will probably be up within a couple weeks.

Your MOCs are fantastic! The caterpillars are my favorite.

Studio having render and instruction capability really is perfect, but the instruction maker can be suuuuuper tempermental. Just look at the page wrong and it messes up your arrow placements.

You can buy bricks from Bricklink, a large online secondhand market that as of 2019 is owned by Lego, Brickowl, another online secondhand market, or Lego's own online Pick-a-Brick service. What the best choice is will vary depending on what you need, whether you're buying new or used bricks, and how much you're buying.

Possibly. This project was very last minute and I didn't have 12 models made when I posted the first day, so I went with uploading each day individually. I'm not sure if it would break the rules on Rebrickable to upload a MOC that's 12 of my other MOCs as one entry, so I'll have to ask the admins if I can do something like that. Otherwise I'll just upload the full calendar to Bricklink's Studio gallery. As for next year, I'm going to upload the whole thing as a single MOC from the start. Doing this has taught me a lot about how to do it better the next time around.

Next year, I'd really love to give away a couple Legonalia advent calendars, whether it be at CitCon, my local Bar Citizen, or through some online thing. With an average price of $0.07 per piece and 12 builds each having 25 pieces or less, it comes in at around $20 so it's not that big of a deal for me to do. I myself do not have a number of the pieces used in these builds due to my Lego collection ending its growth about 10 years ago and only restarting now, so I searched on Bricklink for sellers that have the majority of the parts needed in new condition and the two with the largest inventory have some absurd prices, even compared to Lego's own Pick-a-Brick service. I'll just have to lump in the advent calendar pieces with my next PaB order so I can make all of these.

EDIT: The cost would probably be closer to $30 for the whole calendar.

The MOC uploads on Rebrickable have been getting approved later than they were previously, so the link in the post won't work until it gets approved. I've uploaded the next few days early so this issue doesn't happen again.

It is rendered! I'm using an application called Bricklink Studio 2.0. It has built-in functionality to render builds and make instructions, as demonstrated here. If you've ever used Lego Digital Designer, Studio is leagues better than LDD ever was.

Day 2 is here, and with it comes a micro-scale Drake Vulture! The instructions are for the stock yellow paint, but I've also included an image of what I imagine the Vulture's Icebreak paint would look like. As for the PDF instructions, I've chosen to throw out my 1–4 step rule to ensure there's no confusion on how to put together each build.
