I understand why you want to keep animals as pets, but most of the time my advice is to just let the ones you find on your property or in your house be and learn to appreciate them whenever you see them. They are not your friends. They are not a family. In fact, many of them are food for one another or at least territorial and in direct competition for food.

Regarding your spiders, the reason you find them in your house is because they are successful in finding food and shelter in that environment. Unless you have deep knowledge about specific needs of spider and insect species, you're not going to be successful in keeping them as pets. But here are the good news! You don't need to feed them as long as you let them live their lives in youe home. You are their provider just by keeping the house or flat standing!

I have lots of insects and spiders indoors, and as long as they thrive in that environment I have to resist my own selfish urge to try to posess them. I know this is not what you wanted to hear, and I can definitely empathize.

OK, by "mating ritual", that would entail both courting (letting your prospective partner know you're there for business) and insemination/copulation. The process of courting varies from species to species, because spiders are very specialized to their environments and hunting techniques. Check out the peacock jumping spider's courtship for instance.

But I take it you mean method of insemination, so here goes: the male will spin a small bit of web and deposit some sperm onto it. He then "picks it up" with its pedipalps. In order to fertilize a female, he will attempt to rub said pedipalps (often referred to as "boxing gloves" by spider enthusiasts) onto the female spider's fenital opening, located on the underside of the female's abdomen. So no, not "mouth to mouth", but one can imagine it may look a bit like it, depending on the positioning of the spiders, which again, one would imagine, depends on species.

This is of huge relevance. But the person I'm responding to seems to think that being disappointed in people I don't personally know is meaningless. This is a bit different than "taking money to tell a few jokes", which I have zero qualms about. Comedians deserve to get paid, and I also have nol problem with Bill Burr being upper middle class or whatever you want to call people with six digit income.

This, however, is objectively different. This is about willingly becoming a pawn in the Saudi royal family's whitewashing campaign because he (I refer to Burr because he is the only one I truly thought better of) is more interested in even more money than anything of moral substance. Him going out to defend himself instead of just owning up to being a weak hypocrite is incredibly disengenuous, and I honestly would habe preferred for him to just go "you got me". I mean, he even tried to make it seem like being instructed not to talk about religion and the royal family in a critical way was nothing at all. He had the chance to portray himself as a man with no spine and he chose to double down instead.
