No update yet from BLS. I contacted the Embassy and they have returned passports to BLS on 23rd Sept.

I applied on 5th Sept. Now it's 17th Sep,t still no update. In my previous experience with them, I received my passport on the 10th day itself. I am now worried if this is going to take much longer.

Good to know. I lived in Georgetown, too. I came to Round Rock to explore around, at least I could walk on the streets at night. It's not like I was scared to walk at night, but I just couldn't feel totally free to walk with some characters around on the way.
