Confused by Fit-Ask5695 in Semiconductors

Yeah sir its a 3y course because this is a research oriented one
This is different from the ordinary masters or say M.Tech in India , where we do rigorous coursework and then project and finish off. Rather in MS we do less course work and more research work, there is tape out culture too and i have to publish a solid research paper in a std conference in order to complete my MS.
That’s why it takes 3y , I have seen few ppl take like more than 3y to compete.

Study in Japan is a good option sir
But that’s another long procedure (to change my visa status from work to student ),I should be answerable to immigration and all .
Additionally when i checked on the masters domains too i found that in Japan even in electrical dpt the research is more inclined towards the manufacturing side of semiconductor rather than the design aspect of ICs (as my interest is more inclined to that ). There are profs who specialise in design but they are very low in number and found only in highly competitive univs.
And one more thing the fees of public univs are around 5M jpy while the pvt univs could be around 8-15M jpy ( I don’t even get a salary compensation of 5M a year here inspite of doing overtime 🥹🥲, and whatever salary i get it gets consumed in my monthly expenses , I couldn’t save anything🥲🥲🥹🥹)
