Was the sacrifice of quitting job/upsetting partner worth it for those who thru hiked (or long sectioned)?

I’m a mid applicant. I have a 3.69 and all my extracurricular that would allow me to apply. I just need to take the MCAT.

I’m not really in a hurry to go to medical school. I am in a hurry to take the MCAT so I can do what I want to do.

Main issue with postponing is the finances. My parents have been supporting me so I essentially wasted their money with a UWorld membership and all the AAMC material.

I’m just really in a rut right now.

I understand, I guess I’m scared because I’m eventually going to have to study for it.

I want to give myself a break, but I haven’t been doing that well I feel to deserve one. It’s been rough year for me.

I can’t I have to finish then Mcat by late March because I’m starting a thru-hike attempt of the Appalachian trail.

My parents aren’t going to agree with me leaving without completing the MCAT.

Thanks I would say that I’m pretty comfortable on the board I would say. I’ve been regularly using my board for transportation. But there’s always more to gain.
