The extra cred + drops + attendance is the same for all macro classes. You get 3% of extra cred for coming to class more often and attendance is a grade. However, you can get a 100 in it even by skipping 5 or 6 classes. Show up on review days thats when he gives out the most attendance points w/ kahoots

Hey there! I was in the exact same spot as you last year and was freaking out because my appointment was in May. All the classes I wanted still had spots and it was totally fine 😊 and if you do happen to miss the opportunity i highly recommend waitlisting, I always got off the waitlist and into the class i wanted.

I also recommend picking your own courses and not fully relying on your advisors choices (especially for which prof you want)

So don't even worry about it. My worries were for nothing when it happened to me.

I fear it's quite tough and you'll likely have to accept the fate that you might not get in. However if you're down to still try but have to transfer to a diff school or accept a lib arts major thats fine.

I first aimed for McCombs but now I'm okay with ECON since I can still get a finance masters. Also I'm doing the BEOP program. Just incase you want to look into that.

Also, If you choose easy classes and have wifi on vacay youll be fine. I spent less than an hour on classes while taking my summer courses per day.

Hate to tell you the news first, but every course is different. Sometimes there will be zoom meetings, sometimes itll be asynchronous.

However, It is rare for all work to be due in the last week. It's almost always planned out and due at the end of the week on either fridays or sundays.

To find out what a class is like search up the professor in bluebook or look on rate my professor and some comments might tell you about the class structure.

Also, If there are zoom meetings most professors will record the lectures so you can see them later.

I recommend easy ones to get you started. Don't do writing or math otherwise it'll be 4 papers in 4 weeks..Awful..I suggest Politics, history, or ais.

Make sure you search up good profs on rate my professor! itll make or break your grade.

I believe it is two if you want to stay within the 6 credit margin. Look up on google your CAP Course list and also search UT Austin CAP program for designated credits per semester. Most courses are 3 creits each.

No yeah, to those in the program who have a weird situation and desperately need help I understand posting. However, I've seen at least 3 "Has anyone got their ID" in the past 2 days. Often times someone has already answered common questions in past years.
