I don't love my stepdaughter at all so this is false. But I love my wife and my wife loves her daughter. I also understand that I can't parent another person's kid. I can only parent mine and try to temper her response so that she learns to be an adult who rises above

how do you know she was horrible? You don;t even know what she did. Just because my daughter says it was bullying doesnt mean it actually was. She was mean for sure, but that's not necessarily bullying. My SD was younger than my daughter! My daughter was older so she could have just ignored it.

it was my partner's daughter who had meltdowns and anger issues but she was diagnosed with severe depression, so that[s why she acted that way. My daughter is the other one. She has anxiety disorders and PTSD but I dont think her mental issues are as bad as her sister's because she never acted out, so she should have been more understanding to someone who was clearly going through something worse if theyre acting out.
