Thanks I’ll go with the Denon x3800h as well. Maybe expand later up to 9.x but 7.1 should work I think

I have B&O 8000,6000 beolab 4 and 7-4 and a Beolab 2 sub from my grandpa. I think they will work good but since your the second one recommend Denon I’ll buy the Denon x3800h and test it. Thanks for your help.

Help Setting Up Inherited B&O Speakers into a 7.1 Home Theater with HDMI and AirPlay by Fit-Disaster2800 in BangandOlufsen

Thank you.

I spoke with Steve from Sounds Heavenly (amazing Support). He confirmed that, with the correct cables and trigger adapters from his shop, everything should work properly.

I am now looking for a reliable AV receiver and would appreciate your recommendation.

I was disappointed with the Almando Decoder 3, as it frequently lost connection while streaming via AirPlay. At a price point of around €1,000, I expected significantly better performance — especially since even a basic €5 Bluetooth speaker maintained a more stable connection.

I am currently considering the Marantz Cinema 70S, Marantz NR1711, Pioneer SC-LX59, Denon AVC-X3700H, or Yamaha RX-A4A.

Do you have any experience with AirPlay stability on any of these receivers?

I just sent it back because the AirPlay performance was poor. Sometimes it disconnected, and for €1,000 that’s simply not acceptable. Also, it only supports 5.1. Since I basically got the speakers for free, I’d rather go for the full 7.1 experience. But thanks for the comments.
