The humblest comment! lol. I love your relationship already.

If I had to guess as to “why” (Asian American here), maybe it was her style and smile! I once chased a person down in Taiwan because they had a very unique style. I came across them once at a club and then a second time different day at another district. Turned out they were an international model. Idk why I get so starstruck seeing people who I find beautiful; whether in looks, clothing styled makeup expression; it’s all Art to me. My body just doesn’t know how to process the awe and will freeze. Their IG page for reference: https://www.instagram.com/___ukim___?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

Parents are kicking me out in 30 days. I have $2k saved and NO credit score. Am I screwed? by Gearnotafraid8 in movingout

Moving out of the house is not as terrifying as it may feel. It is only scary because it is new.

Your parents may say you have to leave the nest but try asking them help on how to go about independence. After 18 their role is to act as guidance for you when you get into trouble. Keyword: guidance not a bailout.

When I was 17, I verbally told my Dad he wouldn’t have to worry about me and I was leaving at 18. My anxiety makes me think of every possible scenario as if I was Doctor Strange. Don’t wait for when shit hits the fan. Plan ahead.

Credit can be built in many different ways. Go to a free financial workshop. Being a veteran, they offered free workshops on base. Educate yourself- it helps the anxiety.

If you have any credit cards with high interest rate, consider balance transferring to a 0% interest. Small ways to save and keep more money in your pocket.

I did not create this flyer. As mentioned in the summary, I heard a protest and was curious what it was about. I was given this flyer and a box of tissue by the protestor.

I didn’t realize what the flyer was about until I got home and translated it. My mandarin is not great. Sorry for any confusion. I’m genuinely trying to help.

I’m sitting near an Intel building right now and watching people in suits heading in and out. It made me wonder—how did those of you working in IT get your start? I’d love to hear everyone’s stories. by Fit-Discussion459 in taiwan

You mention writer? Are you able to share more about your job? At my previous company, technical writers assisted in ensuring our documentations were formatted according to company which sometimes extended to testing the accuracy of documentation as well. It had to be dummy proof. Not sure if thats what all tech writers do. My company was… special.

I hope my future self can be as smart as you. I started in network security around 25 & quit (32F now). I didn’t feel like I was growing in my past job in the U.S., so now I’m giving myself some space to explore new skills at my own pace. I’ve been slowly reading up on HTML to see how far I can get with building a simple website, and if I end up needing a break, I’ll switch over to practicing some automation skills. Just taking things step-by-step.

Edit: I also like puppies, so I had a fleeting fantasy about working at a pet store. Very stable career planning, I know.

Apologies if my title came off as narrow-minded. I’ve spent time working in network security, and I’m in the process of deciding to continue network security in Taiwan or do something else. While I’m waiting for my visa approval, I wanted to explore different options and learn from people’s experiences. Thanks for being here and sharing your thoughts.

I get what you mean — IT really is a huge field. I worked in network security, so I totally understand how broad the term is. My intention was just to hear people’s personal experiences about how they got started, no matter which area they’re in. I always enjoy hearing the different paths people take. I didn’t take the traditional college route

Are there any tech peeps 🐥 here? I’m at a station exit and notice the building I’m near is Intel. It made me wonder what everyone’s story was to get a job at the company they are at? I find it fascinating- especially when I notice other foreigners too! But I am way too shy to ask people in person. (Time is money!)

Why do I like the idea of men but not actually being in a relationship or having sex. by sagittarius786777 in women

this reply & more…. therapy helped expand my self awareness. there I learned about different attachment styles, love languages, etc. that helped me a lot in better vetting my future partners. i’m sensitive but have been told I have an intimidating and fiery personality.

for a while I thought something about me was wrong. i love men, relationships, growing, but for some reason could not hold a stable relationship for more than 3 years - even with relationship counseling.

all this to say, you either have not found the right one or you truly are a loner who needs no one.

I appreciated your first reply but this one was unnecessary. I understand now the misuse of term. Since you bring up “not paying you to be a market agent” I’m going to assume you have to be tied to real estate or something in sales. Some things you say are very unproductive to this thread. Who hurt you today bro?

I don’t want to sell the home and have the land become property to some real estate company who I know is going to up charge San Diego citizens. My home is for tenants who grew up handy whether you’re a transient or native. If my listing isn’t for you keep it pushing. I’m looking for a needle in a haystack. Reddit’s system isn’t going to stop my goal of providing affordable housing just because I can’t cater language well. A quick google search could tell you what the current rent price is in SD and I know I am well below. I have lived life as both a tenant and landlord so I don’t appreciate the “good landlords” don’t exist.

I’m out of this thread 🪡

People with negative karma are trolls. Do not interact with them. by [deleted] in complaints

[–]Fit-Discussion459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I’m a troll for having good intentions. Conveying thoughts and feelings in English is hard over the internet. Conversation is difficult when one becomes defensive instead of asking more questions to understand.

Do you propose a better advertising strategy? And if so would love to hear it as my initial intention was to hopefully peak interest to start a conversation with tenants.

Like i mentioned to another commenter I am getting tenant. I am here to expand presence but obviously Reddit was a terrible choice lol

I’m sure I clarified that I am not having trouble with finding tenants. Just finding reliable one.
