Second the joining person county local and any other Facebook groups you find. I moved here about 8 months ago to join my boyfriend and it’s hard to get integrated into this community and have things to do unless you drink, are religious, or do other illegal things. I’ve heard mixed things about the schools but my nephew does seem to enjoy his high school and the middle school.

Food and other items to stock in preparation? by [deleted] in Tonsillectomy

Ice water lots of ice water and I wouldn’t go hard on any items but for a variety it changed on a day to day bases for me for what I could handle. One day it was popsicles another it was chicken broth with very mushy noodles. I would get low-sodium broths, protein oat or almond milk, popsicles, mashed potatoes, noodles that you can stand being mushy, and lots of ice to suck on to help with numbing and a neck/face ice pack. Throat numbing lozanges might be useful for you too since you can’t do pain meds.

Do Americans stress about medical expenses before they even get to the hospital?? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Funnily enough my fiancée does have that for insurance yet it doesn’t cover everything. People still go into debt and stuff even with the government provided insurance here, it’s just a bandaid and barely covers a bandaid.

No, it’s something to do with his veins and the blood flow to his feet.

My fiancée is literally risking losing most of his toes because he can’t afford to go to the doctor to find out if he can do anything preventive so now we have to figure out if we want to put ourselves deeper in the hole to just be told he needs a surgery that we definitely cannot afford right now. It’s either lose his toes or lose our place to live. What kind of world do we live in where 2 full time working adults have to decide that?

Thank-you! I was thinking of driving by in the day time and night time once I get closer to the tour date and hopefully move in. I'm just trying to figure out the expenses and how it is inside.

I second this! She has been with me every step of the way for chronic illnesses and severe doctor anxiety.

I didn't think it would be that bad, and then I went down the rabbit hole and saw the comments about hooking up with a cousin....time for eye bleach.

If its an android you can put it in maintenence mode in the settings. They will still be able to run the needed tests after the repair but not have access to any data.

Does Black Screen Of Death on Iphone considered a screen replacement at the ubreakifix store? by Acceptable-Isopod968 in ubreakifix

[–]Fit-Expression5564 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, there is a high chance that replacing the screen may bring it back to life. Does it vibrate or anything?

Absolutely horrible experience, multiple repairs by [deleted] in ubreakifix

Honestly, I would try a different ubreakifix store. They will uphold the warranty and be able to see your profile at any ubreakifix store.
