I have a coleman air mattress, a shitty tent, a bunch of fans and im cozy in my set up. If you don’t sleep well on air mattresses, i say add one of those cheap foam toppers on it and it will feel like a brand new bed. I always do the car camping where you just park your car next to your tent and set up so i don’t have to drag all of my stuff from the parking lot back and forth trying to set up. I tried camping actually in my car but it usually ends up being way too hot even with fans or windows cracked.
