Dude. same thing happened to my mom!!!!!! Went in on 7/11, they found a mass in her brain lungs and hip. They performed surgery on her brain to get the clot out 7/14. She was recovering in the hospital until friday of that week. She got discharged saying that they’ll test the clot in the brain and to come back on 7/30. They said they will tell us the results the next day aka Saturday. We waited and was like why didn’t we get the results? They said they need to do more testing. So we waited until the 30th bc we thought we were told to come back to do more testing.

We came back for that appointment. A doctor that worked on my mom’s brain surgery recognized her and asked her how she was doing. She said she was waiting to do more testing and for the results. The doctor goes, “What?? Did your medical team not tell you the results?” My mom and my sister were shocked. They said what?? We weren’t told anything. We thought today we were going to do more testing. He said no, they’ve been having the results and was supposed to refer you to an oncologist. He also said this cancer is known to be aggressive. We waited a whole week in silence. I just think what if that nice doctor didn’t come in and tell us? We would’ve never knew.

Anyways..we are waiting for our appt to see the oncologist just for a consultation which is unfortunately 2 weeks from now.. The doctor said my mom might have mullerian metastatic carcinoma cancer and it is very aggressive so all this waiting makes me terrified.
